In the first production most of the music was mine. The electronic sounds were largely derived from components used in my large work-then-in-progress electro-acoustic work Elegy, premiered by the SPNM in January 1992.

The jazz was My Pretty Girl, by Jean Goldkette's 1923 Orchestra with Bix Beiderbecke on trumpet. (It too is used in Elegy) and the solo piano music was George Antheil's Jazz Sonata (1917), Sonata Sauvage (1923) & Sonatina IV (1916).
